Having just recently installed the latest update of EBI 3 for the Linux server, I was confused on the progress up the upgrade. The install took longer than one would think; I was not sure if the system was hosed or just taking long than normal

We know developers will tell the end-user to go look at logs, but we need to make it easy for the end-users and give a progress report in the UI. Since end-users do not perform these on a normal basis they do not know how long the update should take
